Bra Boy boss Koby Abberton opens up on his WILD night partying with Hollywood star Russell Crowe and the disgusting act he tried to hide only to discover the home had ‘video cameras everywhere’
Koby Abberton told his fellow campmates an amusing tale from his life in the limelight on Tuesday night’s episode of SAS Australia.
The former professional surfer – who was a member of the surf gang the Bra Boys – revealed that he got a series of calls from someone claiming to be actor Russell Crowe – but he didn’t believe it was him.
‘I started getting this bloke calling me, “[saying] it’s Russell Crowe”. I’m like mate, just f**k off alright,’ he said.

‘I don’t know who this is, I know it’s one of the boys, leave me alone!’ he added, before eventually working out it really was the Unhinged star.
Once the confusion was cleared up, Koby received an invitation to visit Russell at his home.
‘I went to his house, and I took my manager there. My manager doesn’t drink or smoke,’ he explained.

‘Next thing I look across at him and he’s smoking joints and drinking beers.’
He added that Russell amused the pair by wearing the mask from his 2000 film Gladiator.
‘Russell comes out in a gladiator mask. We start wrestling and s**t. Having the best time ever,’ Koby said.

‘Russell runs back in his room, and I was like [to my manager], “There’s spew on your shirt right now!” He was tucking his shirt in and [throwing up down it].

The former surf gang member from Maroubra Beach in Sydney now resides in Bali.
He lives in the popular tourist destination with his Ukrainian model wife Olya Nechiporenko and their six-year-old son, Makua.
