Tom Cruise gave fans a rare treat when he made an appearance at Game 2 of the National League Division Series in San Francisco on Saturday night.
The A-lister, 59, was enjoying a night out at Oracle Park to watch the San Francisco Giants play the Los Angeles Dodgers with his son Connor Cruise, 26, joining him.
Videos from fans and the stadium’s video screens showed Tom grinning ear-to-ear as he took in the game while chatting with fans, and even fellow actor Danny Glover.

Tom did his best to keep a low profile, even though there was no way to hide one of the most famous faces in the world.
He stayed cozy in a navy down jacket and wore his hair slicked back while sitting in pricey $1,000 seats, according to TMZ.
The game was a chance to bond with his son Connor, who was seated next to him.
He was even more casual in a black hoodie with a black-and-white trucker hat and a thick beard that he has taken to wearing recently.
Fans were alerted to his presence after he popped up on the Jumbotron and the stadium played Kenny Loggins’ Danger Zone from his film Top Gun.
Giants reporter Amy Gutierrez shared on Twitter that she asked if he was rooting for the Dodgers or the Giants, but he responded opaquely: ‘I’m a fan of baseball.’
Donating his time: The gracious actor grinned ear-to-ear while chatting with fans, and actor Danny Glover, 75, even stopped by to chat with him

Even though the outing was a family affair for the superstar, Tom was gracious with fans and stopped to chat with people who walked by his seat.
He was seen in one fan video turning back to chat with a masked fan and posed for a selfie.
The Magnolia star showed off an infectious grin the whole time and jubilantly fist bumped passing fans.
Lethal Weapon star Danny Glover, 75, was at the same game and was spotted stopping by to chat with Tom, and both men looked as if they were having a great time.
Tom and his then-wife Nicole Kidman adopted Connor in 1995, shortly after his birth, and they also share their adopted daughter Isabella, 28.
According to People, Connor has stayed close to his father and the Church of Scientology.
Family: Tom and his then-wife Nicole Kidman adopted Connor in 1995, shortly after his birth. He lives in Clearwater, Florida, where the Church of Scientology is headquartered
‘Connor lives in Clearwater, which is the church’s main hub. He still deejays but he has really become a big fishing guy,’ a source told the publication.
‘He’s content with living a quieter life,’ a source said of the seaside town in Florida, where the church’s headquarters are located.
Both Isabella and Connor are Scientologists like their father – something that is reported to have put a strain on their relationship with their mother.
However, in 2019, Kidman spoke out about her bond with her two adopted children, insisting that she fully supports their ‘choice to be Scientologists’.
‘Motherhood is about the journey,’ she told The Sun. ‘There are going to be incredible peaks and valleys, whether you are an adopting mother or a birth mother. What a child needs is love.
‘They have made choices to be Scientologists. It’s our job as a parent to always offer unconditional love.’
Tom has been staying busy throughout the pandemic while working on his upcoming film Mission: Impossible 7.
Last month, it was reported that he had called it quits with his costar and girlfriend Hayley Atwell, 39, though she still had some scenes to film with him.
Hard at work: Tom has been busy for more than a year filming Mission: Impossible 7 with his one-time girlfriend Hayley Atwell, though they were reported to have split last month; seen in November 2020
Coming soon: The Hollywood icon will next be seen in another sequel, Top Gun: Maverick, which is expected to come out in May 2022
The two will also likely be working together in the lead-up to the action film’s release for press junkets.
Last month, an insider told The Sun: ‘It has been a very intense period of filming together. They really got on well — but as the latest film winds down they’ve decided to go back to being friends.
‘Their filming schedules are very full-on, and Tom has a number of other commitments coming up and is always shooting around by private helicopter and jet so it just ran its course. But they’re still happy to work together. It’s a shame, but just one of those things. They still get on well.’
The Hollywood icon will next be seen in another sequel, Top Gun: Maverick.
He reprises his character Captain Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell from the first film, but now he works as a flight instructor training Lt. Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of his late partner Goose.
The long-delayed film has been pushed back several times since its original 2019 release date, and it’s now expected to arrive in theaters in May of 2022.
